The second instalment of Breathe brings us to East Malaysia – to the city of Kuching.

Kuching is the capital city situated at the southwest tip of the state of Sarawak, a populous city home to approximately 325,132 people.

The sphere was shaken in May 2019 following the news of a young girl in Kuching – who took her own life after the results of a poll she posted on Instagram.

We are here to find out the mental health awareness among the people of Kuching as well as the different efforts arising towards building mental resilience and suicide prevention.
