In the face of mental illness, many posed this important question: Is self-help possible?
On this episode finale of Breathe Season 1, our guests share what they would tell someone who may be in their shoes. While they cannot escape the truth that “no man is an island” and do require external support, the recovery journey is also one they have to take strong ownership of.
Ranging from getting out of the room, smiling more often and even rapping, they each begun to get a clearer picture of what works to help them express their individual pain in healthy ways.
These recommendations were shared to help individuals love themselves better and help the community to foster greater compassion for a trying individual.
